Linnéa, Kim and Jenny founded the GameDev Force Association at the start of 2019 with a vision for uniting the various initiatives within Sweden all aimed towards creating a more inclusive and diverse Game Development Industry. It is currently run by Angehlica, Olivia, Rosanna and Laura.

PURPOSE & VISION
Game Dev Force is a non-profit association working to support initiatives that function to increase diversity, support equality, and create safe spaces for minorities within the games industry.
GameDev Force recognizes that diversity and inclusion are complex and multifaceted areas to engage in, and is therefore supporting multiple focused initiatives with differing goals on several fronts.
Our current areas of focus are to provide a safe space for minorities with our lunches for Women, to create an inspiring platform for diversity with the conference, and an energizing safe space for creative women in games with the Valkyrie jam event.
The association and its members support initiatives for diversity and inclusiveness by attending and/or hosting events and by personifying the values of the organization.

The core group consists of members of GameDev Force who help out with initiatives, leading projects and supporting each other as a team.
